Vines: A single estate vineyard, Cabernet Sauvignon vines planted in 1990 with a mixed trellising system of Hanging Cane and Scott Henry. Mixed planting of 5 different clones.

Winemaking: Matured in a combination of new and old French barrels for 18 months.

Tasting notes: Yering Farm's Signature wine. Named after Alan's father George Johns, this elegant Yarra Valley Cabernet displays sweet berry aromatics with subtle, earthy complexities. Rich dark fruit notes on the palate, subtle tannins and soft oak flavours with a long, velvety finish.

Cellar: To enjoy now or with proper cellaring, the continued potential for another 10 years.
